It was long layout and I struggled to find grip and confidence in turn 5, the second hairpin left. The practice day was wet so I was out on the B bike with the wet tires on – it was great! Danny loaned some wet tires to Heather so we did a few laps together in the open practice. It was mostly dried up for the races on Sunday apart from the puddle at the end of the straight going into the Carousel. I was going to go out on the B bike with Pirelli Supercorsa DOTs on but Danny convinced me that slicks would be fine and he turned out to be right.
